At Broken Bow Boers we are dedicated to providing TOP QUALITY wethers for Ohio’s County Fairs. Our wether program follows strict guidelines set by us to insure our buyers of a quality product.
Prior to their sale our wethers are processed thru a health and wellness program which includes - Banding – Disbudding – Worming – and all required vaccinations. Our wethers will be weaned and on an accelerated feeding program designed by nutritionists to maximize growth potential.
At Broken Bow Boers we have identified the sires that consistently produce top end wethers. The genetic strengths of these sires have given us the ability to produce exceptional animals year after year; this is a testament to our sound breeding program. If you are looking for that competitive edge in your 4-H wether projects, consider the following:
- Grand Champion 2006 Ross Co. Fair, Ohio

- County Born & Raised Reserve Grand Champion 2007 Ross Co. Fair, Ohio

- Reserve Champion 2008 Pike County Fair, Ohio

- Grand Champion 2009 Dearborn County Fair, Indiana

- 18 Class winners

- Numerous animals placing in the top 5 of their classes
Broken Bow Boers will also offer a select group of does for the 4-H exhibitor looking to expand their showing possibilities. These doe’s will be off of our top wether producing sires and will be registered with the ABGA. Please visit our for sale page for current listings and price.
We believe our market wether program to be right on target, delivering competitive wethers to the youth of Ohio and surrounding states. We hope you will consider us for all of your 4-H market / breeding project needs.
